My first visit to a California Winery

Hi – I want to introduce myself and tell you a little about me.

I’ve lived in New York City and worked on Broadway in Theatre Management (my first career).  Because I reached a point in life where I needed a “real job”,  I transition into Legal Marketing and Corporate Communications working with several Fortune 500 companies.

About 5 years ago, I moved to Florida to semi-retire and begin to enjoy life after working 60 hour weeks in NYC.  The best part about living here is that I have time to pay attention to all the little things in life.   When I slow down and see how wonderful our world is, I’m amazed.

In the midst of this economic crisis, I realized the best things in life aren’t money related, they’re the heart and soul of a person.   I may loose all my money, my house, my car – but I’ve always got my love of music, spicy foods and best friends.

I have always traveled and been interested in other cultures.  Seeing how other people live has always fascinated me.  While we all are different, we all have the same hopes and dreams for our lives.  A mother in Thailand wants her children to be safe and healthy – just like I do for my daughter.

I decided to start this website/blog because I hope other people can take a moment to see the world outside.  If we realize that we’re not alone, we can somehow feel better about lives today.   Maybe if we all learn about each other, we won’t fear or hate our neighbors.  This is a peace mission of love and understanding.

I guess that’s my story.  There’s a huge, wonderful world waiting to be discovered.  I hope you’ll want to join me on this around-the-world adventure in learning.
